On Tuesday, October 3rd, Y6B students had an engaging learning experience by sharing a Personal and Social Education (PSE) period with Y7C students. In small mixed-grade groups, they worked together to identify similarities and differences between the primary school and secondary school sections. This interactive activity allowed them to explore the transition to secondary school collaboratively. The students were actively involved and made the most of this enriching opportunity. To conclude the session, some students shared their observations and what intrigued them the most about the secondary school environment, providing valuable insights into their perceptions and expectations.
El martes 3 de octubre, los alumnos de Y6B tuvieron una enriquecedora experiencia de aprendizaje al compartir un período de PSE (Desarrollo Personal y Social) con los alumnos de Y7C. En grupos pequeños y mixtos, trabajaron juntos para identificar similitudes y diferencias entre las secciones de Primaria y Secundaria. Esta actividad interactiva les permitió explorar la transición a la escuela secundaria de manera colaborativa. Los alumnos participaron activamente y aprovecharon al máximo esta enriquecedora oportunidad. Para concluir la sesión, algunos alumnos compartieron sus observaciones y lo que más les intrigó sobre este nuevo entoro, proporcionando valiosas perspectivas sobre sus percepciones y expectativas.
Nordelta Primary & Secondary – Y6 & Y7
As a part of the bridging activities with Secondary School, Y6 participated in a Mathematics workshop with Y7. They worked collaboratively and put their knowledge about fractions into play, together with teachers from both cycles. In this way, our Y6 students are getting ready for the oncoming challenges next year.
En el marco de la articulación con Secundaria, Y6 participó de un taller de Matemática junto a Y7. En el mismo trabajaron de manera colaborativa y pusieron en juego su conocimiento sobre fracciones junto a docentes de ambos ciclos. De esa manera, nuestros alumnos de Y6 se van preparando para el desafío del nuevo año.
