Y6 Audela - Lucero del Alba

Within our Personal and Social Education Programme, students in Year 6 participated in a workshop led by AUDELA. This is an organisation that works to increase awareness through special programmes in order to promote the social integration of people with special needs. With their workshops they seek to “transform the social perception of disability by neutralising prejudice and lack of knowledge, transforming and enriching differences.” (http://www.audela.org.ar)

We would like to share with you that our Year 6 students were part of recreational activities together with our Secondary students and the children of Lucero del Alba (which works with students with intellectual disabilities).

This activity was held on Monday, October 31st and they all participated really eagerly.

We are glad to work hand in hand with this organisation in order to increase awareness and promote social integration of people with special needs.

It was an enriching experience for everyone!

Dentro del Programa de Desarrollo Personal y Social del Colegio, los alumnos de  5 participaron de un taller a cargo de AUDELA. Esta es una organización que trabaja desarrollando programas de concientización y sensibilización con el fin de promover la integración social de personas con necesidades especiales. Con sus programas buscan “que la mirada social hacia la discapacidad, muchas veces limitada por los prejuicios o desconocimientos, se transforme y enriquezca con las diferencias.” ( http://www.audela.org.ar)

Quisiéramos compartir con ustedes que nuestros alumnos de año 6 realizaron  actividades recreativas junto a los chicos de la escuela especial Lucero del Alba.

Esta actividad ocurrió el día lunes 31 de octubre, y fue una alegría ver a los chicos participar con tanto entusiasmo.

Nos complace trabajar mano a mano con esta organización que se ocupa de concientizar y promover la integración social de personas con necesidades especiales.

¡Fue una actividad enriquecedora para todos!
