All aboard! Next destination: Egypt! Last Friday, Year 1 welcomed Ana Inés Etchepareborda, a history teacher specialised in art, who conducted a presentation and a talk about Egyptian culture and civilisation. Through various photos and artifacts, Year 1 students traveled to Egypt and learned about the pyramids, the Nile River, hieroglyphics, and much more. This experience was the starting point for Unit of Inquiry 5, “A long long time ago,” where students will continue to inquire and learn about ancient civilisations. We thank Ana Inés for her time and dedication.
¡Todos a bordo! Próximo destino: ¡Egipto! Este viernes Y1 recibió a Ana Inés Etchepareborda, profesora de historia especializada en arte, que llevó a cabo una presentación y una charla sobre los egipcios. A través de distintas fotos, y artefactos, los alumnos de Y1 viajaron a Egipto y aprendieron sobre las pirámides, el río Nilo, los jeroglíficos y mucho más. Esta experiencia fue el puntapié inicial para la UOI 5 “A long long time ago”, donde los alumnos seguirán indagando y aprendiendo sobre civilizaciones antiguas.
