Storytelling Workshop

Diving into our Academic Staff Training Initiative, this Tuesday, we had the pleasure of hosting the renowned Spanish writer and storyteller, Adrián Yeste. Currently residing in Argentina, Yeste, author of children´s books such as “Caracoleo” and “Las Náufragas”, graced us with his presence to conduct an enriching oral storytelling workshop.

During the seminar, attendees delved into the art of storytelling, exploring topics like the artful selection of narratives, the nuances of voice modulation, and the magic of intonation. Yeste also shared an array of techniques to captivate and engage listeners, allowing them to craft an immersive experience that evokes diverse emotions depending on the genre: suspense, trepidation, anticipation, and joy.

The workshop proved to be an enthralling journey for participants, as they discussed the world of tales and possibilities that will undoubtedly shape their future interactions with audiences.

Adentrándonos en nuestra Iniciativa de Formación para el Personal Académico, este martes tuvimos el placer de recibir al renombrado escritor y cuentacuentos español, Adrián Yeste. Actualmente radicado en Argentina, Yeste, autor de libros infantiles como “Caracoleo” y “Las Náufragas”, nos honró con su presencia para llevar a cabo un enriquecedor taller de narración oral.

Durante el seminario, los asistentes se sumergieron en el arte de contar historias, explorando temas como la cuidadosa selección de narrativas, los matices de la modulación de la voz y la magia de la entonación. Yeste también compartió una variedad de técnicas para cautivar y comprometer a los oyentes, permitiéndoles crear una experiencia inmersiva que evoque diversas emociones según el género: suspenso, temor, anticipación y alegría.

El taller resultó ser un fascinante viaje para los participantes quienes exploraron el mundo de los cuentos y las posibilidades que sin duda moldearán sus futuras interacciones con el público.
