Sports Fest

PRIMARY – 2023 RUGBY & HOCKEY FEST

Saturday 1st April, a memorable date for both students and families. Joining in a perfect morning of sports, friendship and service. Finishing off with Founder’s Days week celebrations, we had the Northlands Hockey and Rugby Fest, where students organised teams to play an internal tournament , with the excuse to collect sports elements for the schools Northlands helps in Chaco and Rosario del Tala.

There was enthusiasm, laughs, parents sharing time outdoors and true team spirit. Some teams prepared their own t-shirts, original names were chosen as well. The tournament had excellent matches played, with very good performances as well.

Thank you families for your support, and students for giving your best!! We really appreciate your dedication.

El 1 de abril quedará para todos como un día memorable. Familias, estudiantes, toda la comunidad de Northlands juntos en una mañana perfecta de deporte, amistad y servicio. Como culminación de la semana donde celebramos Founder’s Day, organizamos un Hockey y Rugby Fest, donde los alumnos armaron sus propios equipos, eligieron su uniforme y el nombre del equipo, para jugar un torneo interno, con la excusa de juntar donaciones de elementos deportivos para las escuelas de Chaco y Rosario del Tala que apadrina Northlands.

Hubo risas, entusiasmo, padres compartiendo tiempo al aire libre, partidos de un excelente nivel, espíritu de equipo, camaradería. 

Muchas gracias a todas las familias por acompañar y apoyar, y a los alumnos por dar lo mejor de cada uno. Apreciamos mucho su dedicación!

SECONDARY

A true holiday, motivated by sport and service. They put together their teams, came to play and thinking about solidarity projects, they donated sports equipment that our students from Y9 to 12 will use in recreational, solidarity and sports activities in Chaco and Rosario del Tala. Congratulations and thanks to all, boys, girls and families!!

Un verdadero día de fiesta, motivados por el deporte y el servicio. Armaron sus equipos, vinieron a jugar y pensando en los proyectos solidarios nos donaron elementos deportivos que nuestros alumnos/as de Y9 a 12 usarán en actividades recreativas, solidarias y deportivas en Chaco y Rosario del Tala. Felicitaciones y gracias a todos, chicos, chicas y familias!!
