Sport Fest
Y4 Girls:
The day started early with an air of excitement as the Y4 pupils prepared for the school’s Hockey Fest. After a quick warm up and a few words of encouragement from the coaches, the teams grouped together and headed out onto the pitch.
The match was action packed from the start. The players showed impressive skills on the field, demonstrating both their individual skills and teamwork.
Throughout the morning, the students not only showcased their sporting talent, but also their sportsmanship. They cheered each other on, celebrated successes and consoled each other in defeat. Fellowship and camaraderie were present in every match, creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
Y4 Boys:
A beautiful morning not only to play with friends but also to put into practice our motto of Friendship & Service. On this occasion we come together so that through sport we can help the people who need us most since sport is also supportive.
We made 4 teams mixed by grade and by location seeking greater integration.
The games were very entertaining, played with great enthusiasm and joy.
All the games were even and the focus was always on enjoying and being of service to the community.
At the end, there was a closing with reflections on the activity and what feelings helping others aroused.

Y5 Girls:
“When we set up the groups I wasn’t with girls who were very close friends and now I know them better and I’ve become friends” Laura W.

Y5 Boys:
We had a great morning with the kids in our house. We managed to form 3 teams, among which we played many games with the aim of having fun and putting into practice what we have been training.
To close the morning we decided to play for a while on a bigger court, so we divided into two teams and played a bit more formally.
It went really well!
Y6 Girls:
Before we even started making up the teams, we decided altogether the main objectives of the activity.
1- To bring sports materials to donate so that other kids can also practice sports like we do.
2- To be empathic and not leave anyone aside
3- To have fun
With those goals in mind we made up five teams to play hockey all morning. The priority was teamwork, some conflicts came up but they were solved so that we could enjoy the morning playing with friends.
Y6 Boys:
One morning of pure sport and service, with faces of happiness and joy, our men got together to participate in some rugby matches mixed between grades and venues with the aim of helping people who need us, through sport.
There was a previous talk to tell them about the games and the ball quickly began to spin.
Many passes, programmed plays, tackles and fakes were the stars of the day.
The matches were very even and the only winner was our motto of Friendship & Service.
We want to congratulate all the players and families who were present at the activity.

Y4 Girls:
El día comenzó temprano con un aire de emoción mientras las alumnas de Y4 se preparaban para el Hockey Fest del colegio. Después de un rápido calentamiento y unas palabras de aliento por parte de los entrenadores, los equipos se agruparon y se dirigieron hacia el campo.
El encuentro estuvo lleno de acción desde el principio. Las jugadoras mostraron habilidades impresionantes en el campo, demostrando tanto su destreza individual como su trabajo en equipo.
A lo largo de la mañana, las alumnas no solo exhibieron su talento deportivo, sino también su espíritu deportivo. Se animaron mutuamente, celebraron los éxitos y se consolaron en las derrotas. El compañerismo y la camaradería estuvieron presentes en cada partido, creando un ambiente positivo y alentador.
Y4 Boys:
Una bonita mañana no sólo para jugar con amigos sino también para poner en práctica nuestro lema de Amistad y Servicio. En esta ocasión nos unimos para que a través del deporte podamos ayudar a las personas que más nos necesitan ya que el deporte también es solidario.
Hicimos 4 equipos mezclados por grado y por sede buscando una mayor integración.
Los partidos fueron muy entretenidos, jugados con mucho entusiasmo y alegría.
Todos los partidos fueron parejos y el foco siempre estuvo puesto en disfrutar y estar al servicio de la comunidad.
Al final hubo un cierre con reflexiones sobre la actividad y que sentimientos despertaba ayudar a los demás.

Y5 Boys:
Gran mañana la que pudimos compartir con los chicos en nuestra casa. Logramos conformar 3 equipos, entre los que realizamos muchos partidos con el objetivo de divertirnos y poner en práctica lo que venimos entrenando.
Para cerrar la mañana decidimos jugar un rato en una cancha más grande, por lo que nos dividimos en dos equipos, y jugamos de forma un poco más formal.

Y6 Girls:
Antes de empezar a armar los equipos entre todas decidimos los objetivos de la actividad.
1- Traer materiales para donar para que otros chicos tengan las mismas posibilidades de practicar deporte que tenemos nosotros
2- Integrarnos, no dejar a nadie afuer
3- Divertirnos.
Con esos objetivos en mente armamos cinco equipos para jugar y divertirnos toda la mañana. Lo principal fue el trabajo en equipo, los conflictos que surgieron pudieron ser resueltos para disfrutar de una mañana con amigas.
Y6 Boys:
Una mañana a puro deporte y servicio con caras de felicidad y alegría se juntaban nuestros varones para participar de unos partidos de rugby mezclados entre grados y sedes con el objetivo de ayudar mediante el deporte a personas que nos necesitan.
Hubo una charla previa para contarles sobre los partidos y rápidamente la pelota comenzó a girar.
Muchos pases, jugadas programadas, tackles y amagues fueron los protagonistas del día.
Los partidos fueron muy parejos y el único ganador fue nuestro lema de Friendship & Service .

Sport Fest Secondary
Softball
A tournament was organised with 4 teams made up of a mix of Y7-9-10-11, the Y11 pupils were the captains of the teams, Benjamin, Martin, Fran and Sol.
They played against each other on points for matches won. They played 3 games on each court, 2 innings each game.
In fourth place was the Sol team with 3 points.
In third place was the Fran team with 6 points.
In second place was Benjamin’s team with 7 points.
In first place was Martin’s team with 8 points.
The captains showed great leadership skills with their teammates, beyond the results obtained a great day of teaching – learning and great camaraderie in each team.
Volleyball
We started by playing each with their own category which allowed the teams to explore and develop their individual skills. Y7 played 4v4, y9-y10 played 6vs6 and it was remarkable when it was time to form mixed teams, where two boys from each category joined together.
Not only did it challenge the players to adapt to new teammates and styles of play, but it also promoted inclusion and collaboration. It was great to see how the younger players learned from the older ones, and that the older players also benefited from the energy and desire to improve the younger ones.
Not only did they improve their technical skills, but they also developed social and emotional skills. They learned to communicate effectively, to support each other in times of difficulty and to celebrate collective successes.
At the end of the meeting, beyond the results on the pitch, what remained was a stronger sense of community. The bonds forged through the game transcended age differences. It was a powerful demonstration of how sport can bring people together and build meaningful relationships that last beyond the playing field.
There was no settling who won or lost, great learning! outside the classroom, in a time of competition and collaboration.
Hockey Fest
A different kind of Saturday where the focus was on recreation with a charitable purpose. Three teams were formed with girls from all years. Some of them were even organised in costume. We had Trueno, Las Dormidas and Lorax.
We had many donations of sports equipment and the games were a success.
Sport Fest Secundaria
Sofbtall
se organizó un torneo con 4 equipos integrado por un mix de Y7-9-10-11, los alumnos/as de Y11 fueron los capitanes de los equipos, Benjamin, Martin,Fran y Sol.
Jugaron todos contra todos por sumatoria de puntos por partidos ganados. Se jugaron 3 partidos en cada cancha, de 2 inning cada partido.
En cuarto puesto quedó el equipo de Sol con 3 puntos.
En tercer puesto el equipo de Fran con 6 puntos.
En segundo puesto, el equipo de Benjamin con 7 puntos.
En primer puesto el equipo de Martin con 8 puntos.
Los capitanes demostraron gran capacidad de liderazgo con sus compañeros, más allá de los resultados obtenidos una gran jornada de enseñanza – aprendizaje y mucho compañerismo en cada equipo.
Volleyball
Comenzamos jugando cada uno con su categoría lo que permitía a los equipos explorar y desarrollar sus habilidades individuales. Y7 jugó 4vs 4 , y9-y10 6vs6 notable fue cuando llegó el momento de formar equipos mixtos, donde dos chicos de cada categoría se unieron.
No solo desafió a los jugadores a adaptarse a nuevos compañeros y estilos de juego, sino que también promovió la inclusión y la colaboración. Muy lindo observar cómo los más chicos aprendían de los más grandes, y que estos también se beneficiaban de la energía y las ganas de mejorar de los más pequeños.
No solo mejoraron sus habilidades técnicas, sino que también desarrollaron habilidades sociales y emocionales. Aprendieron a comunicarse de manera efectiva, a apoyarse mutuamente en momentos de dificultad y a celebrar los éxitos colectivos.
Al final del encuentro, más allá de los resultados en la cancha, lo que quedó fue un sentido de comunidad más fuerte. Los lazos forjados a través del juego trascendieron las diferencias de edad Fue una demostración poderosa de cómo el deporte puede unir a las personas y construir relaciones significativas que perduran más allá del campo de juego.
No se instaló quién ganó o perdió, gran aprendizaje! fuera del aula, en un momento de competición y colaboración.
Hockey Fest
Un sábado diferente donde el foco estaba puesto en lo recreativo con un fin solidario. Se formaron tres equipos integrando chicas de todos los años. Algunos ya organizados hasta con disfraz. Teníamos a Trueno, Las dormidas y Lorax.
Contamos con muchas donaciones de material deportivo y los partidos fueron un éxito.
