Rainbow Connection – Olivos EP2 Concert
A magical connection! This year’s EP2 Musical “Rainbow Connection” was the culmination of a beautiful process in which Y4, Y5 & Y6 students developed an amazing set of performing skills. On Wednesday and Thursday, our Brightman Hall theatre became a whole new universe in which Dorothy, Tinman, Lion and the Scarecrow had to find the power within themselves to achieve their goals. It was truly an inspirational show for our students and we couldn’t be prouder of them. We would like to give a special recognition to Maria José Lizaso, Performing Arts Leader & Drama Teacher, Cecilia Fernández Mosca, EP1 Drama teacher, Luz Pinedo and Verónica Iriarte, art teachers, for all the hard work in the preparation of the show, as well as Julián Rodriguez and Belén Pegoraro, Music Teachers. Moreover, we thank all our staff for their cooperation. They were key in supporting our students throughout the musical. As the Scarecrow says, “it’s not where you go… It’s the people who you meet along the way.”
¡Una conexión mágica! El Musical de EP2 de este año, “Rainbow Connection”, fue la culminación de un hermoso proceso en el que los alumnos de Y4, Y5 y Y6 desarrollaron un increíble conjunto de habilidades escénicas. El miércoles y el jueves, nuestro teatro Brightman Hall se transformó en un universo completamente nuevo en el que Dorothy, el Hombre de Hojalata, el León y el Espantapájaros tuvieron que encontrar el poder dentro de sí mismos para lograr sus objetivos. Fue realmente un espectáculo inspirador para nuestros estudiantes y no podríamos estar más orgullosos de ellos. Nos gustaría dar un reconocimiento especial a María José Lizaso, Líder de Artes Escénicas y Profesora de Drama, Cecilia Fernández Mosca, profesora de Drama de EP1, Luz Pinedo y Verónica Iriarte, profesoras de arte, por todo el arduo trabajo en la preparación del espectáculo. También a Julián Rodriguez y Belén Pegoraro, docentes de Música. Además, agradecemos a todo nuestro personal por su cooperación. Ellos fueron clave para apoyar a nuestros alumnos durante todo el musical. Como dice el Espantapájaros, “It’s not where you go, it’s who you meet along the way.”
