Northlands Tour! Y2 Olivos
Last Friday, Y2 received a visit from Alicia Loza, a member of the Vicente López Municipality, who came to Northlands to share a workshop on Road Safety with our students. The visit took place within the framework of the UOI “Change, Everything Changes”, where students inquire on different means of transport. In the morning, our students attended a presentation on road safety, where they learned about the importance of respecting traffic rules and signals for our safety and that of others. Each student brought their bicycle, roller skates, or scooter and in the afternoon it was time to put everything they had learned into practice. With a circuit set up in our playground, they were able to learn about different traffic signals and enjoy a fun and educational activity. When we were surprised by a light rain, we moved the circuit to our SUM and everyone was able to participate in this wonderful workshop. Not even the rain stopped us!
El viernes pasado, Y2 recibió la visita de Alicia Loza, miembro de la Municipalidad de Vicente López, quien vino a Northlands a compartir con nuestros alumnos un taller sobre Educación Vial. La visita se dio dentro del marco de la UOI “Cambia, todo cambia”, en donde Y2 indaga sobre los diferentes medios de transporte. Por la mañana, nuestros alumnos tuvieron una presentación sobre la seguridad vial, donde trabajaron sobre la importancia del respeto por las normas y las señales de tránsito para nuestra seguridad y la de los otros. Cada alumno trajo su bicicleta, rollers o monopatín, y por la tarde fue la hora de poner en práctica todo lo aprendido. Con un circuito armado en nuestro patio, los alumnos pudieron conocer diferentes señales de tránsito, y disfrutar de una actividad divertida y llena de aprendizajes. Al vernos sorprendidos por una ligera lluvia, mudamos el circuito al SUM y todos pudieron participar de este maravilloso taller. ¡Ni la lluvia nos detuvo!
