Friendship Day

On Friday 28th, Y6 shared a beautiful and enriching Friendship Day. The main objective of the day was to foster values such as cooperation and respect, while enjoying outdoor activities.

They started by playing games as a whole group, which allowed them to work together. Then, they divided into three groups, which gave them the opportunity to collaborate and communicate effectively with each other.

After lunch, the students put their creativity and imagination to the test by designing workshops that they will organise for Y1 and Y2 students on the upcoming Service Day. This not only allowed them to exercise leadership and teamwork skills, but also to put themselves in the shoes of others and think of activities that younger students would enjoy.

Finally, in smaller groups, they challenged themselves through different activities and developed problem-solving and teamwork skills in a more intimate setting.

El día viernes 28 de abril, Y6 compartió un lindísimo y enriquecedor día de Friendship Day. El objetivo principal del día fue fomentar valores como la cooperación y el respeto, mientras disfrutaban de actividades al aire libre.

Comenzaron realizando juegos como “camada”. Esto les permitió trabajar juntos. Luego, se dividieron en tres grupos, lo que les brindó la oportunidad de colaborar y comunicarse efectivamente entre ellos.

Después del almuerzo, los alumnos pusieron a prueba su creatividad e imaginación ideando talleres que organizarán para los alumnos de Y1 y Y2 en el próximo Service Day. Esto no sólo les permitió ejercitar habilidades de liderazgo y trabajo en equipo, sino también ponerse en el lugar de los demás y pensar en actividades que los más pequeños disfrutarían.

Finalmente, en grupos más reducidos, se desafiaron a sí mismos a través de diferentes actividades, desarrollaron habilidades de resolución de problemas y trabajo en equipo en un entorno más pequeño.
