At the traditional ADE Intermediate category event, Northlands fielded teams in all disciplines, aiming for the best results and achieving satisfaction with our students’ performances. Congratulations to teachers and students for their dedication and effort.

Hello, we are Delfina Restelli and Victoria Sanchez and we wanted to share a bit about our experience during the ADE tournament. The first match against San Marcos was tough at the beginning but we managed to win it. This brought a lot of satisfaction to the team as we knew the first match was crucial for the group stage. We were aware that winning all subsequent matches was essential to qualify and we set this as our goal. However, we lost our next match against St. John’s on grass. To reach the final, we needed to win our match against St. Luke’s. We put in all our effort but unfortunately lost, ending our tournament journey. Nevertheless, we are very proud that we did not let the loss affect us and continued to play and give our best. We played further matches to determine our final position, winning the first and losing the second against Michell. Overall, there was great teamwork, and we can highlight the participation and effort of all the players. This result placed us tenth in the tournament. This way, we concluded this hockey season, filled with learning experiences and eager to face the challenges ahead next year.
Volleyball Girls
After much anticipation, ADE finally arrived. We awaited it with high expectations, as we had tested our new skills on the court over several Saturdays of training.
One of our main themes was, “first build a group, then we can have a team,” and at this point, we achieved that.
We started by winning our group against BDS, FDS and St. John’s, with a clean 2-0 in all matches, not an easy feat. In the quarterfinals against St. Matthew’s “B,” we won 2-0, and in the semifinals, we lost 1-2 to St. Matthew’s “A,” reaching the match for third and fourth place against BDS, whom we also defeated in a close 2-1.
I want to highlight the great teamwork, aiming to build towards our 2025 tour from this experience, knowing that we need to maintain our strengths and improve our weaknesses. What we do know is that we are a great team and must keep working hard. Volleyball Captain
Volleyball Boys
We started against SMSI, a tough team that played very cleanly and surpassed our game. We lost 0-2.
Against St. Matthew’s, a very different team in playstyle and more accessible, we still struggled to find our rhythm as a team, despite having superior individual skills. We lost again.
Only in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th matches did we gradually improve our game level, winning against VDS, St. John’s, and FDS.
We achieved a 5th place finish in the tournament.

Hola, somos Delfina Restelli y Victoria Sanchez y queríamos contarles un poco de nuestra experiencia durante el torneo ADE. El primer partido contra San Marcos fue difícil al principio pero pudimos ganarlo. Esto generó mucha satisfacción para el equipo ya que sabíamos que el primer partido era clave para la zona. Teníamos en cuenta que ganar todos los partidos siguientes era fundamental para clasificar y lo pusimos como objetivo a completar, de todos modos, nuestro siguiente partido lo perdimos, contra St.John ‘s, en pasto. Para pasar a la final necesitábamos ganar este partido contra St. Luke ‘s. Pusimos todo nuestro esfuerzo aunque lamentablemente perdimos y quedamos afuera. Igualmente estamos muy orgullosas de que no dejamos que la pérdida nos afecte y seguimos jugando y dando lo mejor de cada una. Seguimos jugando partidos para ver nuestra posición y ganamos el primero y el segundo lo perdimos contra Michell. Igualmente, hubo un gran trabajo por parte de todo el equipo y podemos destacar la participación y esfuerzo de las jugadoras. Este resultado nos dejó décimas en el torneo. De esta manera, le dimos el cierre a esta temporada de hockey, llena de aprendizajes y con muchas ganas de enfrentar los siguientes desafíos el año que viene.
Voley mujeres
Después de un tiempo esperado, llegó el ADE. Lo esperamos con muchas expectativas, ya que durante varios sábado entrenando pusimos a prueba nuestras nuevas habilidades en la cancha.
Un tema que hablamos es, “primero lograr un grupo y luego podemos tener un equipo”, y en este punto lo logramos.
Comenzamos ganando la zona, vs BDS, FDS, y ST JOHN`S , en todos fue un 2-0 arriba, no fácil, en cuartos de final vs St Matthew`s “B” ganamos 2-0 y en semi perdimos 2-1 vs St Matthew`s “A”, llegando a jugar por el tercer y cuarto puesto vs BDS a quien también ganamos en un ajustado 2-1.
Quiero destacar la gran labor del equipo, que piensa en llegar a su gira 2025 a partir de esta experiencia sabiendo que tenemos que mantener las virtudes y mejorar los defectos, lo que sí sabemos, que somos un gran equipo y que debemos seguir trabajando. Capitana de volleyball
Volley boys
Comenzamos jugando vs SMSI, un equipo difícil, muy prolijo y que logró superar nuestro juego. Perdimos 2-0
Con St Matthew`s un equipo muy diferente en el juego, mucho más accesible, pero seguimos sin encontrar un buen funcionamiento del equipo, sabiendo que en individualidades éramos superiores. Perdimos nuevamente.
Recién en el 3er, 4to y 5to partido logramos mejorar progresivamente el nivel de juego ganando el encuentro vs VDS, St John`s, y FDS
Obteniendo un 5to puesto en el Torneo
