A Sweet Bridge: K5 and Y1 Marmalade Collaboration
As part of the bridging process between kindergarten and primary school, K5 and Y1 children are sharing various experiences within the framework of the Bitter Orange Marmalade Project that we carry out every year. In an initial gathering, Y1 shared a map with the locations of orange trees near the school; afterward, K5 visited the primary school laboratory, and together with Y1, they made marmalade, carefully observing the process and the changes that occurred during it. Finally, along with the K5 families, they are working together to process the harvested oranges and begin cooking. We all greatly enjoyed these first encounters, where we worked collaboratively towards a common, caring and sustainable goal. Let’s keep going!
Como parte del proceso de articulación entre kinder y primaria, los niños de K5 y Y1 están compartiendo diferentes experiencias en el marco del Proyectos de Mermeladas de naranjas amargas que llevamos a cabo todos los años. En un primer encuentro, Y1 compartió un mapa con la ubicación de los árboles de naranjas cercanos a la escuela; luego K5 visitó el laboratorio de primaria, y en compañía de Y1 elaboraron mermelada, observando atentamente el proceso y los cambios que ocurrían durante el mismo. Por último, junto a las familias de K5, están trabajando juntos procesando las naranjas recolectadas para comenzar la cocción. Todos disfrutamos mucho estos primeros encuentros, en los que trabajamos colaborativamente por un objetivo común, solidario y sustentable. ¡Vamos por más!
