K5 students studying a Caterpillar LIVE!

During the morning break the Olivos K5 children found a very special visitor in the Front Playground: a caterpillar! With boundless enthusiasm they put their heads together to investigate and learn about this red, hairy, crawling being. They discovered that it wasn’t just any caterpillar, but that it would transform into an Imperial Moth! Carefully, the children took the caterpillar to the back playground to let it begin its transformation process. How exciting! 

Durante el recreo de la mañana, los niños de K5 Olivos encontraron a un visitante muy especial en el Front Playground, ¡una oruga! Con mucho entusiasmo se pusieron manos a la obra para investigar y aprender sobre este ser rojo, peludo y reptante. Descubrieron que no era una oruga cualquiera, ¡sino que se transformaría en una Polilla Imperial! Con cuidado, los niños llevaron la oruga al patio de atrás para que comenzara su proceso de transformación. ¡Qué emocionante!
