Y3 Afternoon at the Museum!
Last Friday, our Y3 students had the chance to visit the Museum of Natural Sciences, this time in connection with UOI 4 “Living Together.” But don’t worry! The animals there don’t come to life… at least not during the day! So it was a safe environment for our students, who explored various rooms filled with fascinating exhibits. They discovered interesting facts about mammals, journeyed into the past by examining fossils and life-size dinosaur models, and closely observed a wide array of insects, including centipedes, spiders, and crabs. This visit certainly encouraged thoughtful reflection on the crucial role humans play in learning to live in harmony with and care for all the creatures that share our planet.
El pasado viernes, nuestros alumnos de Y3 tuvieron la oportunidad de visitar el Museo de Ciencias Naturales, esta vez en relación con la UOI 4 “Viviendo Juntos.” ¡Pero no se preocupen! Los animales allí no cobran vida… al menos no durante el día. Así que fue un entorno seguro para nuestros estudiantes, quienes recorrieron varias salas repletas de fascinantes exhibiciones. Descubrieron datos interesantes sobre los mamíferos, viajaron al pasado observando fósiles y modelos a tamaño real de dinosaurios, y observaron de cerca una gran variedad de insectos, como ciempiés, arañas y cangrejos. Sin duda, esta visita los motivó a reflexionar sobre el importante papel que desempeñamos los seres humanos al aprender a convivir y cuidar de todas las criaturas que comparten nuestro planeta.
