On the road to Mathematical greatness
Last week, Y3 students had the amazing opportunity to showcase their mathematical skills through a fun and collaborative game of Multiplication Olympics. Based on the times tables, students applied their knowledge to move on to more challenging stages till only five participants were left and were declared the winners. This was the first incursion into the world of Maths Olympics that will continue next year with the Mathematical Challenges Workshop and later in Y5 with the Ñandú Competition. We are proud they are taking these first steps!
La semana pasada, los estudiantes de Y3 tuvieron la increíble oportunidad de mostrar sus habilidades matemáticas a través de un juego divertido y colaborativo de Olimpiadas de Multiplicación. Basándose en las tablas de multiplicar, los estudiantes aplicaron sus conocimientos para pasar a etapas más desafiantes hasta que solo quedaron cinco participantes, quienes fueron declarados ganadores. Ésta fue la primera incursión en el mundo de las Olimpiadas de Matemáticas que continuará el próximo año con el Taller de Desafíos Matemáticos y posteriormente en Y5 con las Olimpíadas Ñandú. ¡Estamos orgullosos de que nuestros chicos estén dando estos primeros pasos!
