Y6 Global Goals
As part of the PYP Exhibition 2024, our Year 6 students are deeply engaged in the Unit of Inquiry Sharing the Planet, which serves as the foundation for this milestone in their learning journey. Recently, they had the invaluable opportunity to connect with Year 11 students from Modern School in Lanús, who, under the guidance of their professor Marcela Villán, presented their in-depth research and impactful projects. This collaboration exemplifies the power of shared knowledge and intergenerational learning, creating a bridge between students of different ages and backgrounds, all united in their commitment to the Global Goals.
The exchange was not only intellectually stimulating but also fostered a sense of global citizenship, inspiring our Year 6 students to think critically about the environmental and social challenges we face today. It is moments like these that highlight the strength of our learning community, one that transcends individual classrooms and fosters a culture of collaboration, empathy and shared responsibility for the future of our planet.

Nuestros alumnos de Year 6 se comprometieron con la Unidad de Investigación Cómo compartimos el Planeta como base de la Exhibición del PEP 2024, que señala la culminación de sus pasos por el programa de primaria. Recientemente, tuvieron la oportunidad de conectarse con estudiantes de Year 11 del Colegio Moderno de Lanús, quienes, bajo la guía de su profesora Marcela Villán, presentaron sus investigaciones y proyectos. Esta colaboración ejemplifica el poder del conocimiento compartido y el aprendizaje intergeneracional, creando un puente entre estudiantes de diferentes edades y orígenes, todos unidos en su compromiso con los Objetivos Globales de Naciones Unidas.
El intercambio no solo fue intelectualmente estimulante sino que también fomentó el sentido de ciudadanía global, inspirando a nuestros estudiantes de Year 6 a pensar críticamente sobre los desafíos ambientales y sociales que enfrentamos hoy. Son momentos como estos los que resaltan la fortaleza de nuestra comunidad de aprendizaje, una que trasciende las aulas individuales y fomenta una cultura de colaboración, empatía y responsabilidad compartida para el futuro de nuestro planeta.
