First Hockey & Rugby match
HOCKEY:
There were 31 students and 28 participated.
Out of 18 matches, they won 13, lost 3 and drew 1.
In this first encounter, there are many values to highlight. It was a group that appeared very enthusiastic and eager to play. There was teamwork, respect (showing respect towards teammates, opponents, and referees) and commitment (dedication and effort to improve and contribute to the team. Each player was willing to give their best and support their teammates throughout the activity). They displayed a very POSITIVE attitude and were always happy. They learned a lot from their first friendly match, viewing the game as an opportunity to keep learning and improving. And most importantly: fun!
RUGBY:
The big day arrived. Happy faces, smiles, and good vibes were evident on the rugby field. Not even the cold prevented our rugby players from having fun and representing their school and teammates. Over 60 players, families, and teachers created a friendly atmosphere around the fields. On each field, our students showed their commitment both in defense and attack.
But what we certainly took into account was fair play. On several occasions, Northlands players helped members of the opposing team or were honest in certain situations. For us, being a good person is more important than being a good player.
The Y3 rugby players made us very proud, not only for the results but also for applying what they learn in class.

En este primer encuentro hay muchos valores para destacar, fue un grupo que se lo vio muy entusiasmado, con ganas de jugar. Hubo trabajo en equipo, respeto (mostrar respeto hacia los compañeros de equipo, los adversarios, los árbitros), compromiso (la dedicación y el esfuerzo para mejorar y contribuir al equipo. Cada jugadora estuvo dispuesta a dar lo mejor de sí y apoyar a sus compañeras, con la actividad) Se las vio con una actitud muy POSITIVAS siempre y contentas. Hubo aprendizaje en su primer encuentro amistoso, pudieron ver el juego como una oportunidad para seguir aprendiendo y mejorar. Y lo más importante: ¡Diversión!
RUGBY:
Llegó el gran día. Caras felices, sonrisas y buenas vibraciones se podían ver en el campo de rugby. Ni siquiera el frío impidió que nuestros jugadores de rugby se divirtieran y representaran a su colegio y a sus compañeros.
Más de 60 jugadores, familias y profesores crearon un ambiente amistoso alrededor de los campos.
En cada campo nuestros alumnos mostraron su compromiso tanto en defensa como en ataque.
Pero lo que sin duda tuvimos en cuenta fue el juego limpio. En varias ocasiones los jugadores de Northlands ayudaron a gente del otro equipo o fueron honestos con algunas situaciones. Para nosotros es más importante ser una buena persona que un buen jugador.
Los jugadores de rugby de Y3 nos hicieron sentir muy orgullosos no sólo por los resultados sino también por poner en práctica lo que hacen en clase.
