On Thursday, May 30th, with Y5 Olivos and Nordelta, we had the visit of Vicky Rosker, representative of Parley Argentina. Parley for the Oceans is a global environmental organisation and network that brings together creators, thinkers and leaders to raise awareness about the beauty and fragility of the oceans and collaborate on projects aimed at halting their destruction. Working with creative communities, brands, governments and environmental groups, Parley takes action to protect the oceans, the Earth’s largest and most vital ecosystem, with a focus on creativity, collaboration and eco-innovation.
In Argentina, Yago Lange leads the fight against plastic pollution in both urban areas and some of the country’s most remote and beautiful regions, including a collaborative cleanup on the border with Brazil. With over 4,800 kilometers of coastline stretching to Patagonia and two major rivers merging in the world’s only river-to-river delta near Buenos Aires, there is much ground to cover.
Vicky visited us to share Parley’s mission and help us reflect on how we can collaborate in our daily lives. Additionally, she inspired us for the upcoming visit to Mar del Plata, where we will participate with Trinity School in a beach cleanup.
We thank Vicky for making us reflect on the importance of caring for the planet and the impact each of us can have on our environment.

El jueves 30 de mayo, con Y5 Olivos y Nordelta recibimos la visita de Vicky Rosker, representante de Parley Argentina. Parley for the Oceans es una organización y red ambiental global que reúne a creadores, pensadores y líderes para concienciar sobre la belleza y fragilidad de los océanos y colaborar en proyectos que buscan detener su destrucción. Trabajando con comunidades creativas, marcas, gobiernos y grupos ambientalistas, Parley toma medidas para proteger los océanos, el ecosistema más grande y vital de la Tierra, con un enfoque basado en la creatividad, la colaboración y la ecoinnovación.
En Argentina, Yago Lange lidera la lucha contra la contaminación plástica tanto en áreas urbanas como en algunas de las regiones más remotas y hermosas del país, incluida una limpieza colaborativa en la frontera con Brasil. Con más de 4.800 kilómetros de costa que se extienden hasta la Patagonia y dos ríos importantes que se unen en el único delta de río a río del mundo cerca de Buenos Aires, hay mucho terreno por recorrer.
Vicky nos visitó para compartir la misión de Parley y ayudarnos a reflexionar sobre cómo podemos colaborar en nuestra vida diaria. Además, nos inspiró para la próxima visita a Mar del Plata, donde participaremos junto con el colegio Trinity en la limpieza de una playa.
