Nordelta Y4 Friendship Day
On Thursday, April 4th, Year 4 students had their Friendship Day.
Friendship Days are special days when we get together as a cohorte and children have the opportunity to meet others as well as enjoying team work. This allows students to get to know each other more deeply and strengthen friendship bonds.
Our Friendship Day began with a moment for individual reflection, which they later shared with those classmates they didn’t know that well. After enjoying a group snack, the students engaged in a collective artistic activity led by Laura, their art teacher. Once this moment was finished, the kids embarked on a treasure hunt that kept them thoroughly entertained, completing challenges to access the clues.
We all had lunch together, enjoying conversation, the gathering, and a moment of free play. In the afternoon, they were divided into Houses and they created a song and a poster to cheer their House. Finally, divided into groups, they moved through different stations where they fulfilled various tasks.
We closed the day with a moment of reflection where the kids expressed their feelings regarding the event.
El jueves 4 de abril los alumnos de Año 4 participaron de su Friendship Day. Los Friendship Days son un día de convivencia donde se fomenta el encuentro con uno mismo y con el otro y el trabajo en equipo. Esto da lugar a que los alumnos se conozcan con mayor profundidad y se fortalezcan los vínculos de amistad.
Nuestro Friendship Day comenzó con un primer espacio de reflexión individual que después tenían que compartir con aquellos alumnos que no conocían tanto. Luego de disfrutar de un snack grupal los alumnos realizaron una actividad artística en conjunto liderada por Laura, su maestra de arte. Una vez finalizado este momento los chicos se embarcaron en una búsqueda del tesoro que los mantuvo de lo más entretenidos completando desafíos para acceder a las pistas.
Almorzamos todos juntos disfrutando de la charla y del encuentro y de un momento de juego libre.
Por la tarde se dividieron por Houses y crearon una canción y un cartel para alentar a su House. Por último, divididos en grupos fueron pasando por distintos puestos donde cumplieron con distintas consignas.
Cerramos el día con un momento de reflexión donde los chicos expresaron todo lo que habían disfrutado del día compartido.
