Pop-Art Workshop with Gaspar Libedinsky

BAM! WOW! OMG! As part of the inquiry carried out by Y4 students on the “Pop Art” movement, we welcomed Gaspar Libedinsky, a renowned Argentine artist, architect, and curator, and Catalina Libedinsky’s father, who organised an Art Workshop. The workshop involved creating cloth “Outfits” to dress sponge cloth dolls, considering the movement’s three main ideas:

-The redefinition of market products into works of art.

-The inclusion of brands and marketing ideas in the artwork.

-The incorporation of a wide range of color palettes.

We extend our gratitude to Gaspar for his participation and for organising this incredibly valuable, fun, and inspiring session that enhanced the students’ learning experience.

BAM! WOW! OMG! En el marco de la investigación por parte de los alumnos de Y4 en torno al movimiento “Pop Art”, recibimos a Gaspar Libedinsky, reconocido artista, arquitecto y curador argentino y padre de Catalina Libedinsky quien organizó un Taller de Arte. El taller consistió en la creación de “Outfits” de trapo para vestir muñecos de paño esponja, contemplando las 3 ideas fuerza del movimiento:

-La resignificación de productos de mercado en obra de arte.

-La inclusión de marcas e ideas de marketing en la obra.

-La incorporación de la más variada paleta de colores.
