Remembrance Day

Armistice Day or Remembrance Day commemorates the signing of the peace agreement that ended World War I at 11am on 11 November 1918. It is a time to remember and honour the memory of those who served, are currently serving, and those we have lost to the cause. At Northlands, both students and Staff wore poppies that day as a tradition and in memory of those lost to war. Lest we forget.

“Armistice Day” o “Remembrance Day” conmemora a firma del acuerdo de paz que puso fin a la Primera Guerra Mundial a las 11am del 11 de noviembre de 1918. Es un momento para recordar y honrar la memoria de aquellos que sirvieron, están sirviendo actualmente y aquellos que hemos perdido por la causa.
En Northlands, tanto los alumnos como el staff usaron poppies ese día como tradición y en memoria de los perdidos en la guerra. No nos olvidemos
